Over de functie Schiphol Cleaning

Have you always wanted to work at Schiphol and do you enjoy being active in an international environment? As a cleaner at Schiphol Airport, you and your colleagues make sure the airport always looks clean and welcoming. Thanks to your work, travelers experience a pleasant and well maintained environment.

You will be part of a motivated team that works together to keep different areas of the airport clean and presentable. This includes terminals, waiting areas and sanitary facilities. The work is active and you will walk a lot while making sure everything looks fresh and tidy.

You will work in a schedule with different shifts, which provides variety and flexibility in your workweek.

The shifts are as follows:

• Morning shift from 06:15 to 14:30
• Afternoon shift from 14:15 to 22:30
• Night shift from 22:15 to 06:30, optional

Flexibility in working hours is important for this position.

Functie eisen Schiphol Cleaning

• You have lived in the Netherlands continuously for at least 8 years due to the required security screening;
• You have at least 5 years of general work experience or at least 2 years of recent experience in a similar position;
• You have a good command of the Dutch and or English language;
• You are flexible and available to work different shifts, morning, afternoon and night, at least 3 days per week;
• You are physically fit and comfortable with active work and walking a lot;
• You have not been involved with the police or judicial authorities.

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• A salary starting from €15.01 gross per hour;
• Allowances of 130 to 150 percent for evening and weekend shifts and up to 250 percent on public holidays;
• Travel allowance of €0.14 to €0.23 per kilometer from 5 kilometers or full reimbursement of public transport;
• Schiphol is easily accessible by train, bus and tram;
• Working at one of the most dynamic locations in the Netherlands;
• Opportunities to follow training courses and develop yourself within the cleaning industry.
